Admissions Opens

Admission Procedure

The admissions to B.Tech (Food Tech.) degree programme for Management seats will be done at MIT College of Technology, Loni-Kalbhor & for U & M seats will be done by MCAER, Pune on line through Maharastra Knowledge Corporation Ltd, (MKCL) Pune. Admission Intake

  • Degree Programme:  B. Tech (Food Technology)
  • Intake capacity: 40
  • State level ‘M’ quota: 10
  • University level ‘U’ quota: 22
  • Management quota: 08
  • Foreign students quota: Over and above.

Eligibility

  • 12th standard passed in 10+2 (PCMB/PCB) pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an Equivalent  Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & English.  Candidate who has not offered Mathematics at HSC level shall have to complete two deficiency courses in mathematics.
  • And 12th standard equivalence certified by Indian High Commissions of various countries are also eligible for admission.

Course Details

  • Degree Course:   B.Tech. (Food Tech.)
  • Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) - 6 semesters for teaching, VIIth – Hands-on training & VIII – Inplant training
  • Credit Load: 180 : 125 + 25+ 30
